All of the trumpets begin their existence from raw materials. All solid parts are machined from bar stock and all tubes are drawn to each specific size and taper from oversized dimensional tubing. Yellow brass, copper, nickel, red brass, rose brass and bronze are all in use here. When possible I make every component in house. All machining of the valve bodies are done in house followed by assembly and brazing. Every pump is drilled, has liners installed, brazed and then machined. All tube drawing is done here as well as all metal spinning. Each trumpet enters the hone after assembly to open the interior diameter of each pump port to a designated size while each individual pump has exterior honing completed to remove excess mass. All pumps are hand lapped to a final fit before play testing and shipping.
